Off the cuff today I got stuck in a situation where I had to set up a make-shift office off site. Oh Yeah, without any broadband or wifi. Here are some snapshots and the tools I used. All went well, 3G speeds were good.
- Step 1: Turn my mobile hotspot connection on through AT&T and my iPhone.
- Step 2: Connect my iPad and my Laptop to my mobile hotspot for 3G Internet-based traffic.
- Step 3: Get to work. I had some major data crunching to do (copy & paste), so I needed dual monitors.
- Step 4: Launch the “Air Display” application and setup dual monitors (my iPad acts as a second monitor)
