Whether it’s promoting participation in a Professional Learning opportunity or having people register for an event, I’m a huge user of Google Forms. It is a very quick way to gather quick data from people and do something with that data. I’m finally able to say that Microsoft has released their competition. I just created my first “Microsoft Survey” in my SkyDrive with the new Web App feature/ tool.
It’s quick and easy. It also seems to work well. I like the fact that you create everything in a shadow or fancy box popup. Also the dump to an Excel Spreadsheet seems to work well. Take my first Survey below and watch the embedded spread sheet grow. The one flaw I see so far, is it is absent a survey “embed” feature.

After you have taken my quick survey in a new tab or window… then come back, click or tap refresh and see your (and others) responses in the embedded spreadsheet. It actually seems to work pretty well.
