Today we will presenting at the the 1st ever Interventions & Innovations Through Technology Conference sponsored by the Ohio Valley Educational Cooperative (OVEC). For many months, staff members at OVEC and their partners have been planning a statewide conference on technology to enhance instruction and improve student achievement with intervention strategies and innovative ideas through the use of technology/digital tools. This conference will be held on September 21st at the Mohammad Ali Center in Louisville, KY. The presenters at this conference, over 30, will be regional, state and national presenters. Included in the $150 registration fee, are breakfast and lunch. The sessions will begin early that morning, around 8:15 AM and the day will end around 3:30 PM.
What is different about this conference than the ones offered elsewhere statewide? The focus at the very beginning has been to make sure our presenters were practitioners. They are users of the actual strategies and digital tools and will share with administrators and teachers what had worked for them and for their teachers. You are being invited to also bring your own digital device for use during the sessions!
