Just another “power of twitter” story. . .
As I was contemplating my options… grabbed my mobile to look up the closest tire shops. While the 3G speed page loaded, I tweeted:
flat tire = not what I was planning to do today
The cool thing is that within the hour I had received text messages, emails, and calls from friends asking if I needed a ride or needed help of sorts. That’s pretty fantastic.
Reflection = exactly what I needed to do today.
… in the end, put the spare on, which ended up being flat. rimmed it to the nearest gas station – 4 quarters and some air. apparently, just adding one new tire is going to be devastation to my transmission . Likely story.
